Is there any limitation for copy file format?
U-Reach’s Flash duplicators support the most common formats such as FAT 16/32, NTFS and Linux. In addition, if the data is not the common format (FAT or NTFS), the duplicator will use whole media copy mode to bit by bit copy whatever it has in the source.
What is the copy speed?
Our flash duplicator can support up to 33 MB/sec. However, the copy speed also will affect by other factors, such as Flash support speed, you can check it by “Measure Speed” function in our Flash duplicator.
How do we know the data is correct after copy?
You can execute the function “Compare” to ensure the duplicated data’s correctness.
Any Limitation of capacity difference between source and target?
The system has ignore size setting function. This function allows you to set how much capacity tolerance you like to set between source and target flash. From 0% to No limitation. If you set "don't care ", than, there will be no limitation of capacity difference between source and target. However, you have to be care that, when source and target has too much capacity different, it may cause some compatibility problem. We strongly suggest customer to use same capacity flash to do copy
What's the different between "Copy Area - Only Data Area" and "Copy Area - Whole Media"?
(1) "Only Data Area" will analyze the data size, including its format, size, and lacation before copy. It only copy the data and will Fail if the data of source is located beyond the target.
(2) "Whole Media" will copy bit by bit from source to target no matter the data size or location.
Can I use the Flash devices with big different capacity between source and target for duplication?
(1)Source < Target (ex: 1GB copy to 2GB Flash media)
Our Flash duplicator can copy from SMALL source to BIG target Flash media, but the 2GB target will become 1GB when it shows on PC. It is because the target will complete the same as source after copying. The real capacity can be restored by re-formatting the target.
(2)Source > Target (ex: 2GB copy to 1GB Flash media)
It is possible to copy from BIG source to SMALL target, if the source data is within the capacity of target, but the data may be lost or error due to different capacity duplication. Thus, it is strongly recommended to use Flash media with same capacity to do duplication.
