What does “Standalone” mean?

Standalone means no computer and installation are required to operate the duplicator.

Do I need to connect my PC for the duplicator?

No. All of our DVD duplicators are fully standalone with simple one touch buttons to copy. No needs computer knowledge at all.

Can I copy CDs with U-Reach’s DVD duplicator?

Yes. Our DVD duplicator is capable for duplicating not only CD & DVD but also supporting Blu-ray copy.

Why am I getting high failure on my duplications?

High failure rates are usually due to condition of your master disc. We highly recommend that you remake the master disc. Remaking the master disc will reduce the failure rate considerably. Other recommendations includes:

• The higher quality blank CD-R or DVD-R media you use will generally provide better results.
• If the duplication fails, try another master CD/DVD and or new blank CD-R and DVD-R.
• A scratched Master CD or DVD, or a Master CD/DVD with obvious physical damage may not duplicate.
• Keep the duplicator in a clean environment.
• The fan on the rear of the duplicator should be kept clean and allowed enough space for air flow.

Can I duplicate business card size CD-R's or mini CD-R's with U-Reach’s duplicator?

Yes. Our DVD duplicators can support all sizes of CD/DVD disc.

What is the maximum speed can your DVD duplicator reach?

Our CD/DVD/Blu-ray duplicator can reach 20X DVD burn-in speed and 8X Blu-Ray duplication. In addition, disc copy speed and quality, it also depends on the master disc and driver. Certainly, you must use 20X blank disc that will reach 20X copy speed.

Can U-Reach’s duplicator copy CD+G disc?

Yes. Our DVD duplicator can support CD+G copy function. Whether copy CD+G disc is depends on the disc-ROM ability to support the CD+G read.

Why there are some discs I can’t copy?

Duplicators copy whatever they read from the Reader. There are many possible reasons which may cause you unable to copy a disc, such as : (1) If the source disc is copy-protected disc, please don’t copy such copy right protected discs.(2) The the blank discs is not compatible with the source disc. For example, you can’t use DVD disc to copy CD media or use a DVD5 to copy a DVD 9 disc. (3) The reader or the burner is not stable. The reader and burners are the keys to a successful copying. So, please make sure you select vendor qualified burner and reader for you duplicators.

 

 
 

Why is there capacity difference between source and target made by BePRO?

When doing protection, BePRO machine needs to write some special code on the disc, thus the data size of disc copied by Pro Copy Mode will be a little bit bigger than source disc.

What kind of disc can BePRO ProCopy Mode support?

BePRO ProCopy Mode support DVD-Video source copy to DVD-R/ DVD-R DL.

What does PC Disable means?

PC Disable function can protect the disc from PC which can provide stronger protection capability.

Is there any limitation on the brand or type of discs?

To do DVD-Video protection by BePRO needs DVD-R / DVD-R DL disc, but there is no limitation on brand.

Can BePRO also make protected CD-Video or BD-Video?

No. BePRO can only make protected DVD-Video.

 

 
 

What are Multimedia duplicator (MD800) major functions?

A. CD/DVD duplication

B. Flash media backup to CD/DVD disc

MD800 series provide both Multi-session and Disc-spanning function to backup Flash media to disc.

a. Multi-session

It allows several small size flash media backup to one disc. While doing Multi-session the MD800 automatically creates a new folder that put all the data inside.

b. Disc-Spanning

MD800 can let big size flash media backup to several discs. For Example: copy one 8G CF card to DVD(4.7G), the system will automatically calculate that total need 2 DVD disc to copy while the system finish first disc, it will ask for next disc to next step.

What is the difference of MD800 series and DVD duplicator?

Now the MD800 series support up to 1:10 DVD copy,its DVD copy capability is same as DVD duplicator. Besides DVD copy, MD800 also provides Flash device backup function.

What’s format that MD800 series support?

Now MD800 support most popular FAT(16/32) format only, before doing copy, please check your data format by function ”information” in duplicator.

What is the Advantage of MD800D?

MD800 series not only provide CD/DVD duplication but also flash media backup function. The smartest MD800 allows backup FAT format from flash to ISO9600 disc.

Can MD800 play MP3 or JPEG photo?

No. MD800 is designed as a simple and easy device to backup data from Flash and CD/DVD disc.

 

 
 

How fast can uSATA support USB copy to disc?

uSATA controller can support up to 33MB/sec USB transmit speed, it can also support 52X CD, 20X DVD, and 8X BD. The real copy speed will depends on transmit speed of USB device and drives. To copy a full CD need about 3'07"; to copy a full DVD need about 8'10".

Can uSATA controller support USB copy to all types of Dics?

Yes. You can copy data from USB to all regular types of disc.

What kind of format of USB device does it support? What is the format after copying to disc? Since the format is different between USB and disc, will it do format translation automatically?

uSATA controller only support FAT format. When doing USB copy to disc, it will change to disc format automatically.

Can we play back the disc copied from USB on PC or other related player?

Yes, we can do that as long as the player can recognize the file in the disc.

 

 
 

Is there any limitation for copy file format?

U-Reach’s Flash duplicators support the most common formats such as FAT 16/32, NTFS and Linux. In addition, if the data is not the common format (FAT or NTFS), the duplicator will use whole media copy mode to bit by bit copy whatever it has in the source.

What is the copy speed?

Our flash duplicator can support up to 33 MB/sec. However, the copy speed also will affect by other factors, such as Flash support speed, you can check it by “Measure Speed” function in our Flash duplicator.

How do we know the data is correct after copy?

You can execute the function “Compare” to ensure the duplicated data’s correctness.

Any Limitation of capacity difference between source and target?

The system has ignore size setting function. This function allows you to set how much capacity tolerance you like to set between source and target flash. From 0% to No limitation.  If you set "don't care ", than, there will be no limitation of capacity difference between source and target. However, you have to be care that, when source and target has too much capacity different, it may cause some compatibility problem. We strongly suggest customer to use same capacity flash to do copy

What's the different between "Copy Area - Only Data Area" and "Copy Area - Whole Media"?

(1) "Only Data Area" will analyze the data size, including its format, size, and lacation before copy. It only copy the data and will Fail if the data of source is located beyond the target.

(2) "Whole Media" will copy bit by bit from source to target no matter the data size or location.

Can I use the Flash devices with big different capacity between source and target for duplication?

(1)Source < Target (ex: 1GB copy to 2GB Flash media)

Our Flash duplicator can copy from SMALL source to BIG target Flash media, but the 2GB target will become 1GB when it shows on PC. It is because the target will complete the same as source after copying. The real capacity can be restored by re-formatting the target.

(2)Source > Target (ex: 2GB copy to 1GB Flash media)

It is possible to copy from BIG source to SMALL target, if the source data is within the capacity of target, but the data may be lost or error due to different capacity duplication. Thus, it is strongly recommended to use Flash media with same capacity to do duplication.

 

 
 

Can I change the HDD mobile rack by my own?

If it is necessary to change HDD mobile rack by your own, it is strongly recommended to follow the instruction of manufacturer. Manufacturer is not responsible for the problem of copy quality which caused by changing the rack without following manufacturer’s direction.

Does it need waiting time for boot on and shut down?

This system supports instant power on and off, no need of waiting time. Thus, you can turn it off when it is not in use.

Can I interrupt the copy task while it is not finished?

Yes, the program (copy, compare and erase) can be stopped while it is processing by pressing [ESC] for about 3~4 seconds.
