2011-09-16 U-REACH USB duplicator – Power H series now supports flawless USB HDD duplication! Many of our customers have been asking this question: "Can I use USB duplicator to copy USB HDDs?" It could get tricky as a USB HDD is not quite the same as other USB devices, though they hook up via the same USB interface in a duplicator; however, some people are under the impression that with additional power supply, a USB HDD can be copied in the similar fashion as other USB devices via a regular USB duplicator. In fact, it's inadequate to copy a USB HDD by boosting power alone! Unlike a USB flash stick, a HDD has its own file format that requires particular treatment which is never available in a regular USB duplicator.
